Throughout the 90's, SPLOSH! brought the Midlands of the UK some fine underground parties, specialising in the deep and techier side of house music.
SPLOSH! was held on boats on the river, in wooden huts in fields and at various venues such as a monthly all-nighter at the Que Club in Birmingham.
Justin Sparrey, Neil Macey and Steve Griffiths were the residents, ably assisted by many like-minded dj's.
SPLOSH! brought dj's from other soundsystems to Birmingham, including the legendary DIY, Smokescreen and Go Tropo soundsystems.
SPLOSH! is now back in the Midlands after a short hiatus (ok, 15 years!).
SPLOSH! will be putting on semi-regular events, in the Midlands and maybe further afield.

Justin Sparrey
Worcester based Justin was the person who, in the early 90's, came up with the idea for Splosh!
With the aid of promotors Jon, Martin and Karen, Splosh! was born and the early all-parties were held in non-club environments such as wooden huts in fields, more commonly used for coffee mornings and mother and toddler events.
Justin's dj style these days is the techier side of deep house and melodic techno and he's strictly vinyl.

Steve 'Griffo' Griffiths
Steve was a resident at Splosh! throughout the 90's
Steve is now based in Spain but returns to UK regularly to dj.
Steve plays what he calls 'deep and wide' house music, anything from laid-back house to deep techno, he also is a big acid house fan, and often drops acid in his sets.
Steve has released tracks on Ornate Music, SuperSexy and Nicetraxuk and has tracks out this year on Mabuk Recordings under his 'Second City Firsts' alias.
Steve's production aliases include Second City Firsts, Wolf Hackmine, Brummie Blagger and Rafa LaRocka.
